Shipping policy
Delivery period, transport conditions, postage, packaging
The delivery period begins to run on the day following receipt of a binding order, provided that all materials required to process the delivery have been received.
If payment is made by proforma invoice, the goods are dispatched once payment has been credited to the supplier’s account.
If the goods are in stock and the Buyer does not request any additional services (e.g. special packaging, surface treatment, material cutting, etc.), the Seller normally hands them over to the carrier within 1–2 business days; the carrier then guarantees delivery to the Buyer, usually within 4 business days of collection.
The seller undertakes to provide the buyer with free delivery for goods on the condition that the value of the goods exceeds CZK 5,000 excluding VAT (CZK 6,050 including VAT).
Each purchase is assessed individually, and a delivery discount may also be granted below this limit.
Free delivery does not apply to goods longer than 6 m (e.g. cantilever gate profiles, plain steel, etc.), wood-plastic composites, polycarbonates, wire mesh, sheet glass, fragile goods, or goods requiring additional packaging.
- Finished products, garage doors, and custom (atypical) items are priced individually
- A fee will be charged for any material cutting (sawing, shearing) (item no. Cutting-…)
For cash-on-delivery shipments, the courier collects the payment from the customer. Payment can be made in cash or by card, depending on the technical equipment and current conditions of the transport company.
The COD fee is CZK 50 net (CZK 60.50 including VAT).
The supplier does not arrange transport for sheet glass! The Buyer may collect sheet glass at a branch, or by agreement arrange their own transport (at their own risk).
For fragile goods, or in the case of specific packaging requirements, the supplier may charge an additional packaging fee.
Any material cutting (by sawing, shearing, etc.) will incur a separate fee (cat. no. “delenie-…”). If goods are shipped on a non-returnable wooden pallet (cat. no. “Q/paleta-…”), the full pallet charge applies; the Buyer will be refunded the pallet cost only if they return it in person to the branch from which it was charged. For any other special packaging or labeling requests, a handling surcharge applies (cat. no. “M”).
The delivery period will be reasonably extended if a delay is caused by force majeure or circumstances beyond the Seller’s control (e.g. production outages, supplier delays, etc.). For important orders, the Buyer may request a written order confirmation. If standard stock items cannot be delivered within five business days, the Seller will notify the Buyer of the expected delivery date, offer a discount on the retail price or propose a comparable product, subject to the Buyer’s approval. Delivery is deemed timely if the goods are ready for handover at the agreed location no later than the last day of the (originally or subsequently) agreed delivery period.
If the Seller is unable to dispatch stock goods to the first carrier within 30 calendar days, they must refund all funds paid by the Buyer for that order without undue delay. The Buyer must properly inspect the goods upon receipt: check packaging integrity and parcel count, and immediately report any defects to the carrier. The invoice and tax document are enclosed in a clearly marked package.
